Indian cricketers have hailed India's Army's fight for survival against Pakistan's armed forces, as the country is experiencing a war-like situation against Pakistan.
The Indian army retaliated and destroyed a few hideouts of Pakistan's militant groups as a response to the Pahalgam Attack. The attacks saw 26 innocent lives being lost in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
On Thursday night, the Indian Armed Forces negated every attempt made by Pakistan army to strike military bases in Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan. Meanwhile, in this shootout, the Indian Army was able to destroy several hideouts and base camps of the Pakistan Army.

Indian Cricketers Past And Present Hail Indian Armed Forces
The BCCI reacted strongly and called off the Punjab Kings (PBKS) vs Delhi Capitals (DC) IPL 2025 match. The board and the IPL governing council made all the necessary arrangements for the fans and the players. The ground was vacated instantly, and the players were brought back to Delhi vs Pathankot in a special train.
The Indian cricketing fraternity, meanwhile, hailed Indian Army's swift action plan and the way it ensured safety and security of its countrymen in this exclusive battle of nerves. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, among others, praised the Indian Armed Forces.
"With every passing moment, with every decision taken I feel extremely proud of our Indian Army, Indian Airforce & Indian Navy. Our warriors are standing tall for our nation's pride. It's important for every Indian to be responsible and refrain from spreading or believing any fake news. Stay safe, everyone! #OperationSindoor #JaiHind," Rohit wrote on his X account on Friday.
“We stand in solidarity with, and salute our armed forces for fiercely protecting our country in these difficult times. We are forever indebted to our heroes for their unwavering bravery and heartfelt gratitude for the sacrifices they and their families make for our great nation,” Kohli wrote on Instagram.
"War has been chosen by Pakistan when they had an opportunity to keep quiet. They have escalated to save it's terrorist assets, speaks so much about them. Our forces will reply in the most appropriate manner, a manner Pakistan will never forget," Sehwag posted on Twitter.
"Respect to our brave hearts for protecting our borders with such strength and stopping the drone attack on Jammu. India stands strong. Jai Hind," Dhawan tweeted.

IPL 2025 Postponed For One Week
As things stand, the BCCI has postponed the IPL 2025 season for a week, with BCCI and the IPL governing council making all arrangements for the safety and security of players. The overseas players are likely to go home after the latest development.
