Yuzvendra Chahal proved why he is rated the best leg spinner in the ongoing 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) as he bagged a breathtaking hat-trick to crush Chennai Super King's (CSK) hopes of qualifying for the playoffs. The PBKS leg spinner's four-wicket haul triggered a late collapse from which CSK could not recover and post a total above 200 runs. Chahal's hat-trick included the wickets of MS Dhoni, Deepak Hooda, and Anshul Kambhoj in the 19th over.
However, the leg spinner's limelight was stolen by RJ Mahvash, who congratulated Chahal with an epic reaction on social media. The RJ could not control her emotions after the PBKS spinner's epic hat trick and took to Instagram and wrote, "God mode on Kyaaa? @Yuzi_chahal23 Strength of a warrior Sir."

Speculations are rife that the PBKS star player has moved on from his divorce with his estranged ex-wife, Dhanashree Verma, and found love in Mahvash. The couple has also been spotted attending matches and hanging out together. Mahvash has also been seen in a couple of PBKS matches in the stadium, cheering for him. However, Chahal and Mahvash have not confirmed yet that they are dating each other.

For the unversed, CSK was cruising after PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer inserted the Yellow team to bat first. Sam Curran's 88 runs had given CSK's finishers MS Dhoni and Shivam Dube a great launching pad. However, enter Yuzvendra Chahal, the leg spinner, who, until the 19th over, had gone for over 8 runs per over. Skipper Shreyas took a big gamble and bravely gave his biggest match-winner the 19th over with Dhoni and Dube at the crease.

However, time and again, Chahal has proved in IPL that he thrives on challenges and always emerges on top. But this time, he made it extra special by delivering a hat trick and crushed CSK's hopes of reaching 200. Later, in the run-chase, Shreyas Iyer's 41-ball 72 enabled an easy win for PBKS. With this win, they jumped to second position in the IPL 2025 Points Table.
