Punjab Kings (PBKS) openers Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh enabled a blazing start for the team against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) match in Dharamshala. As usual, Arya was the aggressor of the two as he continued his sublime form. The Southpaw started by taking on Mitchell Starc and later dispatched DC captain Axar Patel to cleaners in the last over of the power play. Arya brought up his fifty off just 25 balls and made Prabhsimran look like a mere spectator on the other end.
With the match delayed by one hour due to rain, PBKS opted to bat first after winning the toss. Arya and Prabhsimran made sure the captain's decision did not go to waste as they dispatched anything that was bowled short. If Arya took risks, Prabhsimran was happy to play second fiddle and allowed maximum strike to his young partner.

DC were also sloppy on the field as the dew made life difficult for them. However, that should not be an excuse as Arya was equally adept in playing pace and spin.
PBKS off to flier, task cut out for DC bowlers
With more than 100 runs scored in the first 10 overs, PBKS openers Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh have laid the perfect foundation for the team to go full Monty in the next 10 overs. With Shreyas Iyer, Nehal Wadhera, and Josh Inglis to come, PBKS would be eyeing a total in excess of 200. For DC, only regular wickets will bring them back into the contest.
