Delhi Capitals (DC) is set to cross swords with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match 48 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) season on Tuesday, April 29. DC is placed fourth on the points table, managing to win six games out of the nine games that they have played. Meanwhile, KKR is placed seventh on the points table, winning just three games out of nine games played.
KKR's problem has been the batting, which has been a huge letdown. Their core group of retention players - Rinku Singh, Andre Russell, Ramandeep Singh, and Harshit Rana—have failed to get going, and that has resulted in KKR losing the plot completely. On the other hand, DC has slightly faced setbacks in three games owing to lackluster bowling.
After impressing in the first four games, Mitchell Starc and Mukesh Kumar have slightly gone a bit quiet in the last three games. However, one good thing for DC is they are still in contention for the top two finishes in the IPL 2025 Points Table.
